Device Triggers
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Device Triggers start an automation when an asset joins or leaves your fleet. Use them to onboard new assets automatically, or to keep external inventories and teams up to date when an asset is removed.
| Trigger | Starts when… |
|---|---|
| Device Registered | A Responder is installed and the asset registers with AIR. |
| Device Removed | An asset’s Responder is uninstalled, or the asset is deleted or purged. |
Both are event triggers: the automation runs once for the asset in the event, if that asset matches the trigger’s target scope.
